3 Healthy Smoothie Recipes

Updated: May 9, 2020

One of my Christmas presents was a really nice blender {thank you family} and it's helped us up our smoothie game so much. We make smoothies almost every day now for breakfast or a healthy afternoon snack.

Plus, smoothies are one of the best ways for me to consume large amounts of spinach. includes antioxidants and cancer prevention among some of the benefits of eating spinach. Read the full list of spinach benefits and nutrition information here.

Ready to make yourself a green smoothie? Try this recipe next!

Citrus Green Smoothie:

~ 1 scoop Young Living Protein Powder

~ 1 cup organic spinach

~ 1 cup almond milk

~ 1/4 cup unsweetened fruit (peaches, pineapple, red grapes, cherries combo from HyVee)

~ 2 drops Orange Vitality

~ 2 drops Lime Vitality

If I'm being honest most of my smoothies are some combination of spinach, milk and fruit. But since we've been making smoothies so frequently, I got a bit adventurous and made a smoothie with Young Living's Ningxia Red antioxidant drink (aka gogi berries or wolfberries). Read more about the benefits of eating gogi berries here.

PB & J Smoothie:

~4 oz Ningxia Red (woolfberry supplement)

~1 tablespoon Almond Butter

~1 drop Cinnamon Bark Essential Oil

~1/4 cup frozen strawberries

Cinnamon Bark Essential Oil is the perfect addition to any of your favorite smoothies with chocolate, peanut butter or almond butter.

My final smoothie recipe is one that is for the busy, working momma. Simply add a Slique packet to your choice of milk, blend and enjoy! Slique is an entire product line designed by Young Living to assist with healthy weight management or weight loss (depending on your goal). I appreciate the simplicity and ease of using Slique. Did I mention Slique smoothies also taste delicious?

Busy Momma Smoothie:

~1 Slique packet

~8 oz almond milk

~1 drop Citrus Fresh Vitality
