Anyone else obsessed with looking at smoothie bowl pictures online? Just me?
I'm not super adventurous when it comes to trying new recipes that look difficult. I'm not sure why but smoothie bowls intimidated me. I am all about simple recipes. If I skim a recipe and it needs 12+ items I check out really quick. Most of the DIY recipes on my blog currently consistent of less than five ingredients.
I got really excited and inspired when I watched my dear friend Erin make her own smoothie bowl in less than three minutes.
I can do THAT.
Before I share the recipe, I'm about to talk about Ningxia Red. If you're not a current Young Living member than you might be super confused.
Ningxia Red is a drinkable supplement that is made up of wolfberries or gogi berries. I've been drinking about 2 oz of Ningxia Red every day for 3+ months to help with that dreaded afternoon slump (Ningxia is infused with several B vitamins).
