Homemade Lavender Lemonade

Updated: Apr 30, 2020

What is your go-to beverage for warm summer days?

I personally love drinking a cold La Croix (any flavor), but recently I've had to skip all carbonated beverages due to terrible third trimester pregnancy heartburn.

I've been really missing La Croix and wishing I had something similar to sip on for warmer days. I recently connected with Amy on Instagram who shared a delicious lavender lemonade recipe and inspired me to try creating my own!

Here's what you need:

~8 medium sized lemons

~Lavender Vitality

~Organic Sugar

Step 1: Make simple syrup with 1 cup of organic sugar and 1 cup of water. Bring to a boil.

Step 2: Squeeze 8 medium sized lemons. You should have about 3/4 cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice.

Step 3: Add 1 cup of distilled water to the 3/4 cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice.

Step 4: Pour in simple syrup and mix well.

Step 5: Add 5-7 drops of Lavender Vitality.

Now it's time for a taste test. Too strong? Add more distilled water! Too sour? Add more sugar to taste.

Now you are ready to sip on a delicious cup of ice cold lavender lemonade. Grab your favorite cup, a reusable metal straw, add some ice cubes and enjoy!

*Note: save those lemons and do a little deep cleaning with baking soda when you're done! Clean your stovetop, sink, etc.
