My hubby has been 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦 𝐡𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 + lately we’ve been obsessed with making homemade stuffed mushrooms (quarantine is turning us into chefs). Check out the most recent mushroom find my husband brought home this week:
I'm not exactly sure how we will cook the mushrooms he found, but I'm sure they will be delicious. We will keep you posted on the recipe once we figure out what works. The following recipe is great for your regular store bought mushrooms.
𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐞’𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝:
• 1 package of mushrooms
• 4-5 garlic cloves
• 8 Oz cream cheese
• 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
• 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
• 1/4 teaspoon lemon pepper
• 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩 𝟏: wash mushrooms in Thieves veggie soak.
𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩 𝟐: cut out the stems of the mushrooms
𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩 𝟑: sauté garlic and mushroom stems (minced) on the stove for about 5 minutes in butter or olive oil
𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩 𝟒: heat up cream cheese until soft
𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩 𝟓: mix all ingredients together and stuff mushrooms
𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩 𝟔: cook on the grill for a few minutes
𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩 𝟕: top with your fav cheese (optional)
The last picture is what they looked like after we grilled the mushrooms! They were super delicious and we will definitely be making these mushrooms again.
