How to Make Liquid Castile Soap

I had never heard of castile soap until I started my journey of getting rid of toxins in our home and choosing holistic alternatives. Unscented castile soap can be utilized for so many incredible non-toxic DIYs in your home.

Step 1: Order Kirk's organic castile soap from Amazon (find it under the "wellness" tab).

Step 2: Grate the bar of soap into a bowl.

Step 3: Add 8 cups of water to a crockpot.

Step 4: Heat on high for 1 hour or low for 2 hours.

This creates about 64 fluid ounces of liquid soap for about $3.

After you have your liquid castile soap made, you can add essential oils for whatever you need. Homemade face wash, body wash, shampoo, hand soap, laundry detergent, ETC.

Safe and non-toxic for the win! Your budget will thank you also.
